The National Revenue Agency (NRA) has seized the properties and accounts <\/span> of Georgi Yovchev – father of the occupant of “The House in Barcelona” <\/span>Borislava Yovcheva<\/b><\/b>. He owes $267,171. tax for undeclared BGN 1.7 million<\/strong>, for which he has not explained where he owns them. This was established by our inspection in the Property Register and the Registry Agency. The interdiction imposed by the NRA took place at the end of 2021, almost a year after the publication of El Periodico, which brought to light an investigation by the Spanish Prosecutor’s Office for money laundering with the participation of then-Prime Minister Boyko Borisov<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

How did it come to #Barcelonagate<\/span><\/h2>\n

We recall that as early as 2016 in <\/span>the recordings<\/span><\/a> <\/span> “Yaneva Gate<\/b>” appeared information about a woman with whom the former PM <\/span>Boyko Borisov<\/b> He had a connection and to which he was extremely sympathetic. Judge Yaneva then said that Borisov bought her a house in Barcelona for <\/span>EUR 1.5 million<\/b>. It was later revealed that this woman was <\/span>Borislava Yovcheva<\/b>. She is said to be the mother of Borisov’s child.<\/span><\/p>\n

But there are earlier publications about Borisov’s centilateral relationship in Yovcheva, for example in the Maritsa newspaper from November 2013, in which there is a photo from a football match of Borisov and Borislava’s brother Stanko Yovchev. The photo is illustrated with the title “Family Wars \u2013 Boyko Goes Out Against His Brother-in-law”.<\/span><\/p>\n

The information about the expensive house was revealed in anonymous videos published in the summer of 2018, which refer to documents from the Spanish registers. On the basis of these facts, the NGO GD-BOETS approached the Spanish Prosecutor’s Office through the Spanish Embassy in Sofia. A few months later, in March 2019, the association approached the Catalan police MOSSOS d’Escadra with the same signal. BOETS also filed a signal with KPKONPI, and MP Elena Yoncheva reported the same allegations to the prosecution in May 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

An investigation by the Spanish daily El Periodico revealed that in addition to the house, the price of which turned out to be over 3m euros, the price of which was more than 3m euros. Yovcheva also manages a boutique on the navel of Barcelona – a company store of the luxury Italian brand “Chervigno”. In the company with the boutique share of 850,000 euros has her father Georgi Yovchev<\/strong>, who by profession is a plumber. Another 850,000 euros of the capital were paid by an offshore linked to
\n Yordan Hristov<\/strong>
\n<\/a>, close to Borisov.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the revelations of “El Periodico” the boutique was explicitly emptied and the company transferred<\/a> to the close to GERB Rositsa Velkova. Another transfer<\/a> of the company to the wife of Borisov’s “personal palmist” followed.<\/span><\/p>\n

The publication provoked new signals from BOETS this time against the father Georgi Yovchev, whose enrichment is inexplicable.<\/span><\/p>\n

Borisov: “No, don’t ask me nonsense”<\/span><\/h2>\n

For a long time no one asked <\/span>Boyko Borisov<\/b> whether he is the father of Yovcheva’s child, which, according to Spanish investigators, does not have an official second parent. On September 12, 2020, his question was asked by Bivol’s journalist Vildan Bayryamova. Borisov denied and visibly nervous ended the media briefing.<\/span><\/p>\n
