The saga with the return <\/span> of state control of shipments of fruit and vegetables<\/b>, passing through Kapitan Andreevo border checkpoint and entering Bulgaria and the EU is not expected to end soon. On 27.02.2023, the Commission for Protection of Competition (CPC) published a decision <\/span>suspends the announced public procurement<\/b> for the construction of a <\/span>state laboratory<\/b> for the purposes of official control by the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA) at Kapitan Andreevo border checkpoint. This is the second suspended public procurement for the supply of technical equipment. The first order was declared illegal by the CPC and canceled in October 2022.
