But the “Srebrenica” case, unexpectedly for the participants in it, unlocked other, hitherto closed drawers and their contents received another certificate of authenticity. This is the case with a very large amount of state money that has been paid to businessmen close to Srete <\/span>This happened in the form of deals for the purchase of weapons from Serbia for VMZ Sopot. Millions of dollars were paid in advance by the Bulgarian factory, to a low-grade Serbian company with symbolically small capital, in order to supply our arms manufacturer ….. weapons, and at a price several times higher than the one that the market corresponds to. <\/span>Weapons that were never delivered<\/strong><\/span>. \u0412 \u0441\u0445\u0435\u043c\u0430\u0442\u0430 \u043f\u0440\u044f\u043a\u043e \u043f\u0440\u043e\u0437\u0438\u0440\u0430 \u0438 \u0443\u0447\u0430\u0441\u0442\u0438\u0435\u0442\u043e \u043d\u0430 <\/span>Delyan Peevski.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

2009: “Boyko took the money…”<\/strong><\/h1>\n

“We Serbs are an extremely dirty nation. We will chase him to the end. He is finished, but he doesn’t know it yet!” – this is the remark of the infamous Montenegrin bandit <\/span>Budimir Kujovic<\/strong><\/span> to our reporter during a visit to the Sofia Central Prison 11 years ago. From what? He (the policeman) has a family, children…” At that time, Budimir Kujovi\u0107 was serving a 16-year sentence for drug trafficking through Bulgaria, and his fame was that he was the right hand and closest person to <\/span>Sreten Josic<\/strong><\/span> in here. Kujovi\u0107 told how he gave large sums to senior Bulgarian politicians and members of the government. <\/span><\/p>\n

The conversation with Kujovi\u0107 was about the relationship of his boss Josic with the then Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, pointed out as a potential “finished”. Minutes after the conversation, several DANS cars poured into the prison, and Kujovi\u0107 could never see our reporter again. <\/span><\/p>\n

The topic of Sreten Josic periodically pops up in the public space and always in the context of public scandals. For example, in 2013, MP Hristo Bisserov from the MRF called on Boyko Borisov from the parliamentary rostrum to demand the declassification of the <\/span>Folder “Tulip”<\/strong><\/span>. \u0412 \u043d\u0435\u044f \u043f\u0438\u0448\u0435\u043b\u043e \u043a\u0430\u043a \u0435\u0434\u0438\u043d \u043f\u043e\u0434\u0437\u0435\u043c\u0435\u043d \u0431\u043e\u0441 \u043a\u0430\u0437\u0432\u0430: <\/span><\/p>\n

“Boyko took the money!”<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The reason for Bisserov’s statement was Borisov’s accusations that Ahmed Dogan had ordered it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Four years earlier, Bisserov chaired a special parliamentary committee on Sreten Josic and mentioned the “Tulip” case as the “Flower” case. According to him, this folder contained data from “a high-ranking representative of the underworld, who is already deceased as a result of a real attack.” <\/span><\/p>\n

“It is he who says that Boyko took the money. We do not know who Boyko is, we do not know what this money is, but the words were said a day before the arrest of Sreten Josic and the materials on this conversation are precisely in the case of Sreten Josic,” says Bisserov.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From comments on the sidelines of the parliament, it became clear that <\/span>the folder “Tulip”<\/strong><\/span> was dedicated to the relationship between the former boss of SIC Milcho Bonev – Bai Mile, and Sreten Josic. Replica <\/span>“Boyko took the money”<\/strong><\/span> was uttered by Bai Mile before he was shot on July 30, 2004 in the restaurant of the Slavia Hotel in Sofia.<\/span><\/p>\n

A parliamentary committee in Bulgaria came after Sreten Josic spoke before the court in Belgrade about his stay in Bulgaria.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I was safe in Bulgaria. I was protected by their security services, <\/span>Boyko Borisov<\/b>, who later became mayor of Sofia, and <\/span>Nikolay Gigov<\/b> \u2013 the owner of the Lokomotiv football club, with whom I was connected through business, because he was a legal arms dealer,” Josic said at the time.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It was in the course of the trial that the accusations against Josic that he was involved in the murder of <\/span>Bai Mile<\/strong> were made public<\/span>. \u0417\u0430\u0449\u0438\u0442\u0435\u043d\u0438\u044f\u0442 \u0441\u0432\u0438\u0434\u0435\u0442\u0435\u043b <\/span>Tomislav Marianovi\u0107<\/b> testified that Slobodan Djurovi\u0107<\/b>, who is close to Josi\u0107<\/span>, ordered the murder of <\/span>Milcho Bonev,<\/strong><\/span> and also that he promised 1.5 million euros for the murder of Croatian investigative journalist <\/span>Ivo Pukani\u0107<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The reason for the murder of <\/span>Milcho Bonev – Bai Mile<\/strong><\/span> was that he had failed to stop the extradition of Sreten Josic. The money – $ 3 million – was taken by the then Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Interior Boyko Borisov, who, however, reneged and extradited Sreten Josic to the Netherlands. <\/span><\/p>\n

Borissov, of course, denied what Sreten Josic said and pointed out that his extradition was his merit: <\/span>“During my work as Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Sreten Josic was searched, detained and extradited to the Netherlands at the request of the Dutch government.”<\/em><\/strong><\/span>. He <\/span><\/a> refused to appear in court in Belgrade as a witness, although he was summoned.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Djurovic is currently serving a 15-year sentence for the murder of Ivo Pukani\u0107. More recently, an investigation into <\/span>OCCRP<\/strong><\/span> revealed that the payment for the attack on the Croatian journalist was financed by an offshore company of Bulgarian businessman <\/span>Ognyan Bozarov.<\/b> The murder of Milcho Bonev – Bai Mile can be argued that it is still unsolved, as all those accused for it were acquitted by the Bulgarian court.<\/span><\/p>\n

2018: Pushitsa took the money<\/strong><\/h1>\n

In July 2018, the state-owned company <\/span>Vazovsky Machine-Building Plants VMZ-Sopot<\/strong><\/span> signed a contract with the Serbian company <\/span>VIP Global Logistic<\/strong><\/span> for<\/span>1,360 pieces of old Soviet anti-tank missiles “Konkurs”, at a price of $ 15,000 or a total of $ 20.4 million. <\/strong><\/span> <\/p>\n

These missiles were traded at that time at $ 8,000 apiece. <\/span>If completed, this deal practically means a deliberately planned loss (lost profit) for the state-owned company of more than $8 million. <\/strong><\/span>In order to justify the somewhat unprofitable deal with the arms garbage, VMZ made a fictitious counter-contract with a Cypriot offshore company PPP Global Consultant Trustees LTD, according to information from internal sources from the state-owned company. <\/span><\/p>\n

But the deal on the “purchase” has not been completed to date. <\/span>$10.2 million was paid in advance to , but the missiles never came.<\/strong><\/span> To this day, the transferred millions are hanging in the balance sheet of VMZ – Sopot, which is subordinate to <\/span>the State Consolidation Company.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It seems that the Serbs simply took the money transferred in advance and did not even bother to organize the deliveries in order to “earn” the difference of eight million. <\/span><\/p>\n

Formally<\/span>, VIP Global Logistic<\/strong><\/span> is owned by Nemanja Marijan, who is the right-hand man of the Serbian businessman with a controversial reputation <\/span>Milorad – Mi\u010da Pu\u0161ica<\/strong><\/span>. \u041f\u0443\u0448\u0438\u0446\u0430 \u0435 \u0441\u0447\u0438\u0442\u0430\u043d \u0437\u0430 \u043f\u0440\u0438\u0431\u043b\u0438\u0436\u0435\u043d \u0435\u0434\u043d\u043e\u0432\u0440\u0435\u043c\u0435\u043d\u043d\u043e \u043d\u0430 \u0441\u0440\u044a\u0431\u0441\u043a\u0438\u044f \u043f\u0440\u0435\u0437\u0438\u0434\u0435\u043d\u0442 <\/span>Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 and Sreten Josi\u0107,<\/strong><\/span> who is serving a 15-year sentence and will soon be released.<\/span> In 2018, Pu\u0161ica and his wife <\/span>attended the funeral<\/a><\/span> of Sreten Josi\u0107’s father, along with many associates and friends of the mafia boss. <\/span>Milorad Pu\u0161ica is also a prominent member of Vu\u010di\u0107’s SNS party. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Several media outlets (Frognews and Gallery newspaper) published information about VMZ’s scandalous deal, as well as allegations that it was <\/span> a form of change to Sreten Josic<\/strong><\/span> for the three million that disturbed Borisov’s sleep. <\/span> <\/p>\n

There is no concrete evidence of such a ransom arrangement, but it is a fact that, on the one hand, there is no market logic in the deal, and on the other hand, that the business connections of Pushitsa and his Bulgarian partners point precisely to persons associated on the one hand with Joca Amsterdam, as Sreten Josic is known, and on the other hand with Boyko Borisov. It is also an indisputable fact that we have over $ 10 million of state money, stolen practically through a shady and unprofitable and unrealistic deal, in which VMZ wants to “buy” Soviet weapons from an unknown and decapitalized Serbian company, which in turn would buy this weapon from …. Kyrgyzstan. At a price many times inflated, which in turn will then be resold by VMZ to some completely unknown Cypriot offshore company and… the last one to close the door. As a result, we have Bulgarian state money paid actually to the Serbian bandits and NO weapons in VMZ. A classic crime under the Criminal Code of Bulgaria for favoring on a particularly large scale and causing huge damage to the budget in personal interest. Naturally, as it is symptomatic – the Prosecutor’s Office in this case for the protection of the Law and the State interest simply does not exist! The genetics of such draining and theft should be investigated by the intelligence and the State Agency for National Security in depth, because it may turn out that the interests are much deeper than ordinary theft, but affect persons who determine and can influence the foreign policy of the Republic of Bulgaria. <\/span><\/p>\n

Bivol sent questions to VMZ-Sopot<\/strong> about what is happening with the deliveries under this deal, but did not receive an answer. Sources of the media claim that all ministers of economy from 2018 until now are aware of the case. <\/p>\n

Gigov, Chernogorac, Pu\u0161ica<\/strong><\/h1>\n

In the Bulgarian Commercial Register, Pushika is listed as Pushika and is a partner with the arms dealer <\/span>Nikolaycho Gigov<\/b> in the company “<\/span>Delta Trans 2016<\/a><\/span>“. It was established in 2016 and is apparently inactive, even accumulating debts to the NRA.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gigov is especially close to Borisov and his most loyal people from GERB. His daughter is a parliamentary assistant to the MEP from GERB <\/span>Emil Radev<\/strong><\/span>, and he and Radev traveled to Libya, where they offered Libyan officials to release the arrested tanker BADR for a ransom.<\/span><\/p>\n

A key figure and a link in the affair with the missing millions is Petar Chernogorac (Crnogorski) – a long-time business partner of Milorad Pu\u0161ica and Nikolaycho Gigov, with whom they have made numerous arms deals in Serbia and Bulgaria.<\/span><\/p>\n
