Ivayla Bakalova and Nikolay Staykov from the Anti-Corruption Fund had a meeting with the Minister of Interior Boyko Rashkov in mid-October 2021 .<\/strong> The latter is now the Minister of the Interior. Minutes after the end of the meeting, a conversation on a mobile application from Kalin Stoyanov’s phone was detected in the building of the Ministry of Interior. The beginning of Stoyanov’s conversation and its duration coincide entirely with a conversation on the same mobile application conducted by Martin Bozhanov – the Notary<\/strong>. The traffic data about Kalin Stoyanov’s<\/strong> conversation was acquired within the pre-trial proceedings, which are being conducted against him for exerting pressure on prosecutors in the Hemus Gate<\/strong> case. The data about the Notary’s<\/strong> conversation was acquired after his murder, according to BIRD sources. Once again: the two have a conversation on the same app, starting at the same time and with the same duration. There is no data on who Stoyanov and Bozhanov spoke to, but the probability that they had two separate conversations with third parties, and not with each other, is close to zero. Boyko Rashkov announced in a series of interviews that information about his conversations with Ivayla Bakalova, Nikolay Staykov and the ex-wife of the Notary – Adriana, in which Martin Bozhanov’s activities were discussed, leaked out of the limited circle of persons who attended the meetings. He explicitly mentioned the presence of one of Kalin Stoyanov’s conversations. <\/p>\n

“In the evening, they had called Bozhanov’s ex-wife to tell her to shut her mouth. I assume that the information was leaked from the cabinet where these hearings were held. There, when Ivayla Bakalova and Staykov from the ACF had arrived, the director of the General Directorate for Combating Organized Crime, who is now Minister of Interior (editor’s note, Kalin Stoyanov), was also present,” <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

After these statements by Rashkov, Kalin Stoyanov denied that there was a leak of information from the General Directorate for Combating Organized Crime.<\/p>\n
