The assembly, through the Ministry of Energy and respectively the state-owned<\/span> Bulgargaz<\/b>, <\/span>does not take action<\/b> to forcibly collect the awarded <\/span>over BGN 37 million. liabilities<\/b> of the better known as TPP Dogan (<\/span>TPP Varna<\/span><\/a>), which through Sigda Investment is 50% owned by <\/span>Ahmed Dogan<\/b>, and thus protects the honorary chairman of the MRF and his business. This became clear from an answer to our question to the state-owned company. <\/span><\/p>\n

However, it collects them from all other airlines – which is why the latter filed a signal with the EC for unauthorized state aid after their patience ran out. Whether we will pay the masraf again remains to be seen. <\/span><\/p>\n

Another lawsuit<\/span><\/a> is currently underway<\/span>, filed by the state-owned Bulgargaz for <\/span>more than BGN 3 million.<\/b> unpaid liabilities by TPP Varna. With them, the liabilities of Dogan’s TPP will exceed the amount of <\/span>BGN 40 million.<\/b><\/p>\n

A court decision, a writ of execution and agree?<\/span><\/h2>\n

We publish the one-to-one response received by Bulgargaz to questions that BIRD addressed to the state-owned company:<\/span><\/p>\n

In response to the questions related to TPP Varna EAD, we remind you that the awarded receivables of Bulgargaz EAD from TPP Varna EAD are duly secured, and the value of the collateral provided covers them in full. On the basis of the court decision on commercial case 284\/2022 on the inventory of the General Assembly-Varna, a writ of execution was issued against the debtor in favor of Bulgargaz EAD. At present, Bulgargaz EAD and TPP Varna EAD are in the process of agreeing an agreement for the payment of the amounts due in accordance with the court decision. The awarded receivables of Bulgargaz EAD stem from a contract for the supply of natural gas with TPP Varna EAD. Bulgargaz EAD does not have and has not had contractual relations with Ahmed Dogan personally as an individual. According to the legislation in force in the country, at the moment there is no legal basis for Bulgargaz EAD to initiate enforcement actions against him either in his personal capacity or in his capacity as a member of the Board of Directors of TPP Varna EAD. <\/span><\/p>\n
