British Virgin Islands firm CTW Consulting Ltd. has taken out a $1.5 million loan<\/strong> from U.S. citizen Sebastian<\/strong> Bretschneider. The contract was signed by Assen Vassilev<\/strong>. The requests for payment to Bretschneider were signed by Assen Vassilev. The money was received on the company’s account in a Bulgarian bank. Bretschneider provided a total of $1,477,000<\/strong>, with the initial revolving loan agreement with CTW Consulting Ltd. for $1 million. dollars and was concluded on February 25, 2019. <\/p>\n

After the initial contract, an annex was signed to extend the credit line by another $ 477,000. The last tranche was transferred to the company’s account in March 2021. He claims that he left all companies, Bulgarian and foreign, in which he owned and was a director, but he did not show a document for this and in his declaration<\/strong><\/a> for 2021 there is no declared transfer<\/strong><\/a> of shares. The guarantors of the loan granted by Sebastian Bretschneider<\/strong> are two. The first guarantor is a natural person, a Bulgarian citizen, whose name is not known at the moment. The second guarantor is the Bulgarian company “STV Consulting<\/a>” EOOD, which at the time of signing the contract is owned by Asen Vassilev<\/strong>. She guarantees with her property at 3 Chataldzha Street<\/strong><\/a>, which, as we know, was acquired with a loan of 2.8 million leva. leva, and before the bank the joint debtors<\/strong><\/a> are the company and Asen Vassilev in his personal capacity. A reasonable assumption can be made that the individual who guaranteed Bretschneider’s loan is either Asen Vassilev (owner of the company and co-debtor under the bank loan) or Daniel Lorer, with whom STV Consulting has concluded a preliminary contract for the sale of the third floor of Chataldzha’s house, which happened before November 2020.<\/strong><\/strong> <\/p>\n

In the annex to the contract it is explicitly written that “STV Consulting<\/a><\/strong>” Ltd. has no right to sell the property and must mortgage it in favor of Bretschneider<\/strong>. Thus, he counted on the fact that if they did not return the money to him, at least he would be satisfied with the sale of this real estate. What is really happening. Before Assen Vassilev<\/strong> left the company, the loan was refinanced by another bank, but in the new mortgage loan, Vassilev is no longer<\/strong><\/a> a joint debtor. At 3 Chataldzha Street, the headquarters of the “We Continue the Change” party is moved. Sebastian Bretschneider<\/strong> did not receive a single lev back, and in the summer of 2023 the building was sold<\/a><\/strong> by STV Consulting<\/a> EOOD and Daniel Lorer<\/strong> to a person whose business depends on the state. Sebastian Bretschneider<\/strong> has all the evidence<\/strong> that the money was transferred<\/strong> and absorbed by CTW Consulting into her Bulgarian account. Where the million and a half dollars went after that is not known, but it can be established if an official investigation is conducted with the lifting of bank secrecy. But in order to have such an investigation, the American citizen must turn to the prosecutor’s office with a complaint of fraud, for which there is every reason. <\/p>\n

Moreover, there are reasonable doubts that Bretschneider was deceived by an organized crime group consisting of Assen Vassilev<\/strong> – twice Minister of Finance, Mario Sotirov<\/strong> (the new owner of the company) and Daniel Lorer<\/strong> – former Minister of Innovation and current MP.
