2023: Sarafov’s Big Prosecutor’s Laundry

The year 2023 will be remembered for the shock termination of a number of socially significant prosecutorial files and pre-trial proceedings. For example, under the expert (temporary?) management of the acting Prosecutor’s Office. Borislav Sarafov, absolutely all pre-trial proceedings concerning the person Boyko Metodiev Borisov were successfully crushed – and not only those in which he directly participates, but also those in which the involvement is only indirect. BIRD decided to review this shock “crushing with 200”, an occasion to personally praise the deserving comrade prosecutors, to whom our society should thank for what is available on the territory perjury.

Civil victory against hidden files

However, let’s start with the positive. Until a few months ago, such an analysis would not even have been possible, since the Prosecutor’s Office stupid stubbornness He hid from his website a number of files on important cases for society. Suffice it to recall what it was Situation during the reign of Tsatsarov and Geshev. This changed drastically in June last year – but not because of the “goodwill” of I.F. Sarafov. No – this changed after the Supreme Cassation Prosecutor’s Office lost two consecutive cases filed by an active citizen and our reader, who wondered why exactly the files about the gold drawer, Barcelona Gate and so on are hidden. After totally getting entangled in its lies during the trials – and after losing the cases – the Supreme Prosecutor’s Office found itself forced to stop hiding files from its website. Drawer Gate First

So, let’s start next. The Prosecutor’s Office crushed Drawer Gate with very convenient (for Borisov) motives. The pre-trial was put on speed by Geshev after the “falling out of love” with the leader of GERB, but it was also quickly crushed shortly after Sarafov’s reign. Of course, there is no one to appeal. And the “rectangular yellow objects” apparently teleported themselves to the drawer, and were not brought by Tzolo, Ivan (the Chicken) and friends. Only a month ago, the Saraftura crushed Montagigate, theft of half a billion levs of budget money for “repair of dams” during the time of Borisov and Peev’s avatar Minister Karanikolov. The repair never took place, and the money disappeared without a trace. The light in the tunnel is that Minister Bogdanov immediately appealed the termination of the criminal proceedings. This is also one of the pre-trial proceedings that are indirectly related to Borisov.

Skullgate was also crushed , for the BGN 67 million bribes given by Bozhkov to Borisov, Goranov and Pi Ar Sevi Boyko. We remind you that in the case of the arrest of Arnaudova, proc. Yutjerov pleaded that he had been Legitimate! Although Bozhkov, as a victim, could now appeal the termination to the court, he publicly announced that he would not do so. Apparently, there is a smell of some kind of assembly here, sorry for the deal, since an indictment against him has not been filed so far. , after the serious work and efforts of Prof. Zanev was replaced by new, more convenient and more obedient prosecutors. The heroine of “The Eight Dwarfs” prof. Emilia Rusinova took him out of the case on the grounds that he did not like Borisov (?!) By this logic, apparently the new prosecutors like the leader of GERB!! And this is evident from the fact that the already written indictment is left in the round folder and will not be submitted to the court. And the case was sent to the Supreme Prosecutor’s Office, i.e. to Bobby. So that he can scratch out what he needs with the red pen. As has already happened with all the above cases. Prosecutors were glued to this case only “for taste” or rather for listening (and reporting “upwards”) Tatyana Saday and Sasho Totev. СГП 20202/2021. And the other files against authorized

About a month ago, the Sofia City Prosecutor’s Office suspended the case for “coronavirus in the judicial system”, loudly announced by Ivan Geshev at a meeting of the Supreme Judicial Council. That is, the case about the “rushing” of cases in the CSSDC, about the random distribution of cases in the courts. Only that no one dares to say about the (non)random distribution of files in the Prosecutor’s Office, through the module of the Criminal Investigation System-3. And society has never seen evidence of the observance of the random principle, on the contrary. Irrigating and highly worrying data in this direction were summarized and presented by at least two Interior Ministers, Boyko Rashkov and Ivan Demerdzhiev. There was no subsequent reaction. Sofia City Prosecutor 8547/2020, supervising prosecutor Marina Nenkova (again!). It is not clear whether there is anyone to appeal the suspension at all – but rather there is none.

The criminal proceedings on Bivol’s signal were also terminated 2 months ago against the timber mafia. The motives are still unknown, and the supervising prosecutor remains anonymous. SGP 16802/2022.

SGP 18110/2023. Request for dissolution of the PP Vazrazhdane due to systematic hate speech and aggression, calls for violence, etc. Refusal to submit a reasoned request to the court from 29.08.2023 of proc. Kuman Kumanov. Няма данни за обжалване.

SGP 11376/2023. File against Kostadinov- Kopeikin for “A brutal inhuman scum, thirsting for blood.” There Kostadinov called for the extermination of the “democratic” community because of its support for Ukraine: “This ugly scum should be destroyed!” Refusal to initiate pre-trial proceedings of 29.09.2023, of proc. Ivaylo Petrov (again!). There is no evidence of appeal.

Meanwhile, there was a longer refusal on a signal from BOETS (since 2022), for “fascist scum” – as Kopeikin called the protesters against the overthrow of the Petkov cabinet. The prosecutor is unknown, and the file number is Sofia City Prosecutor’s Office 13913/2022.

On 01.06.2023, the Sofia City Prosecutor’s Office also terminated the pre-trial trial for the “coup d’état against Borisov and Geshev” in 2020. SGP 16443/2022, approx. proc. Kalin Bliznakov (who wrote an indictment for NAPleaks, returned by the court as unfit), Ivan Parvanov (proposed for disciplinary punishment by Sarafov), Kamen Gospodinov and Georgi Bankov. По това дело бяха Tapped dozens of citizens, journalists, public figures and politicians – incl. and our reporter Dimitar Stoyanov. Even a prosecutor from the Sofia City Prosecutor’s Office was wiretapped, the devil knows why.

The pre-trial trial against Assen Vassilev was also terminated, on a signal from Joro Insa (Georgi Samuilov). This pre-trial was a blatant political order and a legal perversion – for a very simple reason. With a resolution of the prosecutor from the Supreme Prosecutor’s Office Clementina Palicheva was practically ordered (ordered) the SPO to directly initiate pre-trial proceedings – and only a day after the entry of the Sinhala! Such an order is illegal in itself. After this fact was publicly exposed, the prosecutor in the case, Georgi Nikolov, recused himself. Who knows, maybe he didn’t want to work on such libels and nonsense. SP 520/2022

In the same way, the pre-trial proceedings for the citizenship of Kiril Petkov were terminated. Стефан Христов, който вече бе написал проекто-постановление за привличането му като обвиняем по “Барселонагейт” – и чак след това депозира отказ от имунитета си.

The pre-trial proceedings against Lacho the Brain were also terminated , although the motives and the prosecutor remain unknown. SGP 16194/2022. However, this is hardly a surprise, given that Lachezar Ivanov is Bankyata’s personal doctor, and has long been a Gerber MP. And the Prosecutor’s Office, by definition, works very timidly (if at all) against Gerber functionaries. In fact, the only reason for Zhivko Sudjuka to burn down at the time was that he was not from Borisov’s inner circle. Otherwise, he would have gotten away with it, as well as everyone else so far.

And last but not least. Obviously, with this systematic crushing of files related to GERB, I.F. Sarafov aims to ensure the permanent favor of Bankyata, in order to be appointed titular Prosecutor General – which is expected to happen in the second half of this year. On the occasion of his episodic insinuations that he did not directly interfere in affairs, we can only recall the long-standing widespread practice. The administrative head of, let’s say, the Sofia City Prosecutor’s Office summons the relevant supervising prosecutor to his office for a conversation, or a collegial conversation. A transcript is not kept, written traces are never left. At some point, if the ordinary prosecutor starts to strain or object, the boss “puts him” in the office of the Chief – where the conversation continues, but with much higher stakes. A shorthand record is still not kept, there are still no written traces. And this has been a practice for at least 25 years, i.e. since the time of Filchev and the Filchevshchina. There is no evidence, and even less evidence, that I.F. Sarafov has stopped this practice. On the contrary – as it recently became clear, Desislava Atanasova went to Sarafov in May (while Geshev was in the United States) to demand that he exert pressure on Prok. Stefan Hristov, so that the latter can quickly stop Barcelonagate. Which was done 4 months later by the new supervising prosecutors – Nikolova and Milushev.
