Interests of Taki and GERB in the “golden” gyol, parking lot and laboratory at the Kapitan Andreevo border checkpoint

The scandalous “golden laboratory” of Kapitan Andreevo is related to the no less scandalous “golden eagle” and “golden parking”. The common thing is that they are controlled by persons associated with the drug lord Christoforos Amanatidis-Taki and GERB, a BRRD study found.

The topic of the Euro Lab laboratory, to which the BFSA has exclusively entrusted the testing of imported vegetables and fruits of Kapitan Andreevo, has surfaced in recent days and reached the parliamentary Committee for Prevention and Counteraction of Corruption. At the meeting on May 26, the owner of “Euro Lab” Vasil Dimitrov appeared in the committee, and MP Konstantin Bachiyski announced information about the connections of “Euro Lab” with emblematic persons from the underworld – Razmig Chakaryan and Taki.

According to Bachiyski, the connection is Euro Lab’s lawyer Ventsislav Milushev, who was also present at the hearing. Vasil Dimitrov denied knowing Chakaryan and Taki and complained that someone wanted to take away his laboratory business, which he ingeniously installed at the border. But his business history tells him otherwise.

The information about the Euro Lab laboratory, installed at the Kapitan Andreevo border checkpoint, is not new. Back in 2015, Capital wrote that she represented the BFSA and was hooked on the feeder with the testing of agricultural production. At that time, the laboratory was owned by Interpred Eurologistic. In turn, this company is owned by Interpred-BG, in which co-owners through Progressive Business Development are Razmig Kerope Chakaryan – Ami and Miroslav Petkov.

Gyol + parking + laboratory = 850 BGN of TIR

The first piggy bank upon entry into Bulgaria is the passage through the “golden hole” for disinfection of vehicles. It is managed by the company “PFC”. The company has changed ownership many times over the years, but in the most lucrative times it is owned by Filip Stoyanov, manager of the Slatina – Kara stock exchange, which is represented by Karo’s wife – Svetlana Kamenova. Razmig Chakaryan was the manager of Slatina-Kara from 2010 to 2016.

The second piggy bank is parking. An on-site inspection of Maya Manolova in July 2021 found that foreign trucks were directed to a “golden parking lot”, where they paid 24 euros. It is also owned by Chakaryan’s company. The third piggy bank is the laboratory for testing agricultural products. She is also related to Chakaryan and Karo, as will be seen below. Thus, the complex 3-in-1 service of trucks with agricultural goods entering Bulgaria from Turkey costs an average of BGN 850 per truck. The revenues are practically more, as there is a casino and a restaurant in the parking lot to enjoy the life of the truckers trapped there.

This scheme worked perfectly for years under the GERB government, until the first caretaker government after the 2021 elections attacked it. The inspections that have begun revealed that PFC is the company with the largest cash balance – BGN 32 million. After eight months, the NRA managed to find it and count the cash, according to the final protocolfrom February 2022, published by the revenue agency.

Taki’s Shadow

The central figure in the scheme is Razmig Chakaryan – Ami, who is connected through numerous company appearances with Krasimir Kamenov – Karo, pointed out as the right hand of the drug lord Christoforos Amanatidis-Taki.

It is alleged that Chakaryan lives on a family basis with Magdalena Tepavicharova – Maggie Bader, who became famous due to the assumptions that she is the notorious Mata Hari, who served the needs of Boyko Borisov in the residence in Bankya.

Otherwise, Chakaryan became publicly known after he and other thugs from the company “Omega 69” (formerly owned by Karo’s wife) beat up journalists from Nova TV on the Trakia highway. The founder of Omega 69, Mihail Mladzhov, was recently spectacularly arrested by the General Directorate for Combating Organized Crime for drug trafficking.

As early as 2015, Capital pointed out the connection of Chakaryan and Karo with the ring of companies that hold both the “golden eagle” of Kapitan Andreevo and the “golden” laboratories for pesticide research of imported fruits and vegetables. At that time, the Euro Lab laboratory was owned by Interpred Eurologistic EOOD, which was owned by Interpred-BG of Razmig Chakaryan and Miroslav Petkov.

The terrain of the parking lot is owned by the company “IBT”, in which the majority owner is “Progressive Building 2016“, the sole property of Chakaryan, showed a reference in the Property Register.

After the connections of the gyola, the parking lot and the laboratory with the underground bosses became too visible, at the end of last year the laboratory “Euro Lab” changed its owner. But the clues lead again to the same characters.

The current owner of the laboratory “Euro Lab” accredited by the BFSA is the company “Eurolab 2011” of Vasil Dimitrov. It was established in November 2021, and on December 31 it signed a contract with the BFSA. Despite its short existence on the market, it managed to sign contracts with 700 Turkish carriers to represent them before the BFSA.

Dimitrov, who appeared before the Commission for Prevention and Counteraction of Corruption, has a meager business history, but he also found a connection with Chakaryan and Karo.

The connection is through the company “Animal Welfare“. Dimitrov was the owner there before selling his shares to two Turkish citizens and the company “Hexala“.

In Hexala, co-owners until 2017 were Chakaryan through Progressive Business Development and Svetlana Kamenova – Karo’s wife.

And connection with GERB and SIC

In the tangle of companies and dummies along the feeder of “Kapitan Andreevo”, the most interesting is the trail that leads to PP GERB and the SIC power group, to which GERB leader Boyko Borisov was close.

Chakaryan’s partner in the key company “Interpred-BG” is Miroslav Petkov – revealed by KOMDOS as an unpaid employee of the State Security. As Capital points out, he is a partner with the municipal councilor from GERB in the Sofia Municipal Council Iskra Angelova in the company “Legal Financial Consulting“.

Petkov has interests in the construction business and in the 90s was a partner with the famous Slavcho Hristov from the “Olympus” circle. At the same time, Hristov was a partner with Small Margin in the companies “Selecta” AD and “Chobi-90”. This can be seen from references in the Daxi system.

The sikadji connection is also thickened by the fact that Miroslav Petkov owned 5% in “Union Ins” – the insurance company that SIC created in 1998 in order to avoid the restrictions in the law on insurance against power companies.

It is noteworthy that it was the GERB MPs who zealously defended in the committee the new straw owner of Euro Lab, Vasil Dimitrov, who is undoubtedly a dummy.

Razmig Chakaryan – Well, he has filed a total of five lawsuits – three against Atanas Chobanov and two against Dimitar Stoyanov, because of our articles about “The Golden Parking”, “The Golden Puddle” and “The Golden Laboratory” of Kapitan Andreevo. Each of the cases has a claim for BGN 10,000. The judges in the cases from the Sofia District Court are Krasen Valev 2379/2023, Svetlozar Dimitrov 9982/2023, Ivanina Pastrakova 9981/2023, Lilia Miteva 2381/2023 and Denitsa Urumova 9980/2023.
