A company related to the woman next to Geshev bought a 350 sq.m. penthouse from Geshev’s friend Mario Krakovski

The company EC TI CONSULT 2020, whose phone number matches the law firm of Detelina Hancheva, has bought a maisonette of 349 sq. m. and a studio of 71 sq. m., together with a garage and parking spaces, in the capital’s “Krustova Vada” district. The transaction was confirmed on 10 September 2020 for BGN 420 000. The seller is the company MAV GROUP BILD, owned by Mario Krakovski, who the Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev admits to be in close friendly relations.

EU TI CONSULT 2020 was established on 23 April 2020 by Stoina Katsarova. The contact phone number is 088729592: A search in the APIS information system using this phone number returns two more records related to Hancheva. They are from 2019 when she registered as a lawyer and from 2021 when she set up a law firm.

A check by the BRRD found that the phone number was answered by the law firm and not by Hancheva herself or the consulting firm EU TI CONSULT 2020. The property itself is new construction and appears to be still uninhabited.

It is a mystery how the newly established consultancy firm managed to raise such an impressive sum and acquire the properties in question in just a few months. There is no bank mortgage registered on them, so the funds are clearly from company activity or an internal loan, not from a bank. It is also strange to acquire elite residential properties and not, for example, an office for the activities of consultants.

The company has not filed an annual financial report with the NRA for 2020 and so it is not possible to know whether this asset has been declared and what the origin of the funds for it is.

Who is Detelina Hancheva?

The story of the woman from whom the Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev has two children was told by the Bivol website two years ago. She made an impressive career from a pole dancer and an employee in the company of the Roma baron Stancho Vladov, to a lawyer and legal adviser to the company of energy boss Hristo Kovachki.

Hancheva was a partner with Krukowski. In 2012 she founded the company OTEA together with Mario Krukowski’s M Consult 95. She is also known for her excellent flair in property transactions. According to an investigation by the Frognews website in 2014. Detelina Hanchev paid only 465 BGN or 234 euros per square meter for an apartment of nearly 86 km. m. Market prices for such a property are nearly 900 euros per sq. m. The seller is the company of Mario Krukowski.

It subsequently emerged that another company had financed the building in which Hanchea had bought the apartment with loans. It belongs to Mario Krakovski and Alexander Vaklin, the main witness in the scandalous case against Desislava Ivancheva, in which Geshev took the most active part.

An inquiry was conducted into this case on a tip-off from DG Fighter, which found nothing amiss. The deal was even executed at a price below the tax valuation, but the prosecution does not see a problem with that.

However, the prosecutor’s decree for refusal to initiate pre-trial proceedings revealed that Mario Krakovski is a long-time friend of Ivan Geshev.

OfficeIn light of these facts, the new property acquisition of S.T. CONSULT 2020 looks like another property stunt through straw faces, which will ultimately benefit the family of Ivan Geshev. He currently resides in House number 5 in the state residence Boyana, where, as Free Europe revealed, a major renovation was made to ensure the comfort of the prosecutor general.

Geshev’s stay in the state residence was revealed by a request from the so-called Poison Trio to the Council of Ministers sent on 24 August 2020. At that time, Ivan Geshev said that he was living in state property on the recommendation of the security services. Coincidentally or not, two weeks later, the Hancheva-affiliated consulting company acquired the luxury penthouse and studio.
