How the favorite of the government Petyo Blaskov did not pay a penny to the bankrupt CCBank

The date of February 12, 2021 will have been particularly happy for Petyo Blaskov – a longtime, tireless worker in the service of power propaganda, constant runner-up and retlanslator of power, and especially the last 12 years of Borisovism. Borisovshchina, which ate like a black disease the social organism through the full dismantling and depersonalizing institutions, bleeding them from their expertise and turning them into an automatic rubber stamp of all kinds of insane and even criminal whims and whims of His Majesty the Chief. However, all this would never have been possible without the active cooperation of the so-called. fourth estate, without the galaxy of journalists and publishers, rushed to serve the Padishaha. Some of them were really forced to do so – but others, like Blaskov, did it entirely voluntarily and with ishtaṣḥ. As a consequence, over time They became millionaires.. Some more slowly, but others – like Blaskov and Nedyalko from PIK – quite quickly. It is about the “happy” fate of We’ll tell you the millions today.

On February 12 this year, the Supreme Court of Cassation
finally left
in force an “interesting” bumpy deal. Namely, one $501,000 set-off, through which Blaskov fully repaid his debt to Corpbank AD amounting to EUR 360,000. A debt that as of 30.06.2014 was already in Arrears 1 year. Otherwise, he was in default. Generally speaking, the trustees in bankruptcy of the bankrupt CCB failed to prove to the court that at the date of the transaction (4 November 2014) Blaskov knew that the bank had already become insolvent. Indeed, the BNB revoked the bank’s license only two days later, but the court held that it was the responsibility of the trustees to prove that Blaskov not only suspected that there was a danger of such an event, but knew that the insolvency was already a fact. This The trustees were never able to prove it. — both in this and in other cases. In the end, they will now have to pay nearly BGN 60,000 in court fees and expenses.

However, it is interesting that the trustees do not use all possible texts in the Bank Insolvency Act (SBA) to attack the crash deal. The text of “knowledge of insolvency” is just one of the possible lines of attack. There are others that have not been used – i.e. there is clearly Not very much diligence on the part of the trustees to recover exactly these funds in the bankruptcy estate of the bankrupt bank. Such a lack of diligence is also noticeable in other cases related to other “interesting” companies and individuals.

And more debts, and more deeds

However, this is far from everything – on the contrary, this is only a small part of the collision obligations to Corpbank AD.. The total liabilities of the Blaskov family to Corpbank AD – in their personal capacity and through their companies – amount to 7.5 million leva. There is no evidence that even one lev of these debts has entered the bankruptcy estate of the bankrupt bank. And this is only a small part of the huge funding allocated by Corpbank AD through various companies (many of them fuses), which was used to implement Taking over the media sector from the tandem Peevski-Vasilev. To date, this actually means mainly and only Peevski, as far as Vassilev is in indefinite “exile” in Serbia. Peevski’s power in the media sector — including the blasphemy “Trud” — remains undeniable, despite the recent mimicry

of the sale of officially its newspapers to the buyer of Nova TV, United Media Group.

In fact, a further review of the court records in the Blushkov cases reveals the following:

1. By
   decision
   of 19.09.2019, the Sofia City Court declared invalid another set-off made by the blasque company Target Media EOOD – worth BGN 1 million. However, this decision is appealed to the SAS, where the case is suspended pending the ruling of the Constitutional Court (CC). So, hypothetically, and this amount may not return to the bankrupt bank, despite the victory in the first instance.
2. In 2017 and again in 2020, the trustees attacked a wide range of interceptions, among which there are companies with which Blaskov is again directly or indirectly related. To track which company owes how much and has returned It’s not quite easy, in so far as cases are still pending in the first instance. One thing is certain, however, – to date. not a single penny of these companies has not been deposited in the accounts of Corpbank. The cases in the SCC have recently also been suspended, pending the decision of the Constitutional Court – which is unlikely to come out before the end of this year.

Dogansaray, awards and orders

In May 2016, Blaskov played a key role in the farce

around the grand prize of the Radostina Konstantinova Foundation.. At the last moment, Blaskov plus his lobby in the Management Board canceled the award (albeit with a preponderance of only one vote) for Bivol’s investigation into the Dogansarai. The same Dogansaray that caused mass sunbathing last summer, followed by mass and thousands of protests. The same Dogansaray that turned out to be a focal point and a mini-model of everything that is wrong in Bulgaria. Something like the “Bermuda Triangle of Corruption”, in the words of Burgas municipal councilor Konstantin Bachiyski. This subversive action in “12 without 5” provoked a violent reaction from seven of the nine members of the jury, who in an open letter to the media Expressed “bewilderment, disappointment and disagreement” with the decision of Blaskov and Co. This was further proof of Blaskov’s closeness to Dogan, Peevski and all their interests – seraglios, newspapers and what not.

In September 2020, we witnessed another scandal with the participation of “Kaloyan Stoev” (the blunt nickname in “Trud”). Then Blaskov was proposed for awarding the Order of St. Nicholas. St. Cyril and Methodius” from the Council of Ministers (i.e. actually from Borisov). Follow A sharp reaction from the Association of European Journalists (AEJ), which stated

that “the state should award an act, not an order to Petyo Blaskov”.

“In recent years, the newspaper “Trud” of the publisher Blaskov has established itself as a media providing a platform for such smear campaigns against activists fighting for judicial reform, environmental protection or hate speech. ” “Trud” is a media in which publications can often be read that can be characterized as part of a hybrid disinformation war against the values of the European Union, liberal democracy and human rights. Blaskov’s construction plans in Dianabad provoked protests by citizens living in the area in October 2020 after it became clear that he was about to
build
six-storey residential-office building on the ground of its acquisition-through-swap. This happened a few days after Borisov (formally through the Council of Ministers) nominated him for an order, as we wrote above. On a purely principled basis, we should note that construction – in Sofia, on the sea, in the mountains and everywhere – is a favorite Bulgarian way to “scroll” (not to use another word) of particularly large sumswhose origin is difficult (or not at all) to explain. Of course, like the case of Nedyalko from PIK, there is no evidence that the NRA, COKONPI and the Prosecutor’s Office have investigated the origin of the funds, which in one form or another the issuer He poured heavily into construction over the years.

However, BIRD made additional checks in the registers. It turns out that one of the crash building societies, SOUTH 14 LtdHe is fighting a tough legal battle with KTB. As evidenced by the documents in the SCC case, the bankrupt bank has registered collateral (mortgage) on a property of the company (i.e. Blaskov’s) with a market value of over BGN 2.1 million. Blaskov attacked this entry in court, having to pay and close to 90 thousand BGN state fee. Several hearings were held in the case and it was even announced for decision – but in November 2020 this case was also suspended pending the ruling of the Constitutional Court.
