“The coup against Geshev” is the story of a protected witness from the “golden pool”. He’s being held with a million-dollar audit act.

The “conspiracy against the state” announced by the prosecution with the participation of businessmen, politicians, figures from the underground and the journalists from BIRD turned out to be a work in the style of “I heard it was so-and-so” by Philip Stoyanov Stoyanov – ex-manager and former owner of the “golden pool” of Kapitan Andreevo. He has become protected witness under number 3AS-2/2023, but it is not clear what exactly the state prosecution is defending him from, unless he is defending himself from another public ridicule. Philip Stoyanov is also the person who recorded the conversation of our reporter Dimitar Stoyanov with the arrested and main defendant in the prosecutor’s case for the “coup” Dilyan Georgiev. A probe by BIRD found that the secret witness had an act of unpaid taxes for over BGN 4 million.

Ten days ago, the public witnessed a strange prosecutorial spectacle. In hamlet-tragic and morbid-serious style the management of the government, headed by Chief Ivan and Siika, called a press conference and announced that it had revealed a plot to coup and shake the state. For evidence, recordings found on flash drives in the home of a detained person were released.

In fact, the “coup” consisted in the fact that some people talked (maybe) how to “push” Geshev by statutory and democratic means. In the conversations, the conviction of the interlocutors is clearly heard that Geshev stretches a corrupt umbrella over certain political circles, but apparently the current Prosecutor General considers this his constitutional right. We did not understand exactly how Geshev identified himself with the State and statehood. The fact is that he considers himself as ““An Instrument of God“, in his own words, but still this does not mean that the model of Louis XIV – “the State is Geshev” is working We didn’t know if the company would investigate.”the Coup d’état on Chapter One of the Penal Code for treason or will stay with the interactive presentation. In view of the articulated allegations, we expect nothing less from the state prosecution except a Chapter One prosecution. If it’s a crow, it’s messy. With or without a cap.

However, we have learned some other things that we will introduce to you now, dear readers. Documents from the pre-trial proceedings, which BIRD got acquainted with, shed a great deal of light on this vaudeville, which the prosecution presented to the public with Infirmities, Remarks and Hickanea. And when we pull the curtains on vaudeville, we see that the whole thing is a flat joke. Which is neither Swedish nor even Soviet. Although the scenario fits one-to-one with the mandatory methodological instructions of the Russian General Prosecutor Yuri Chaika, regarding the engineering of active measures against the enemies of the people’s power.

What the Court Says

First of all, we will focus on the minutes of the meeting in the Sofia City Court, where a measure of “detention” was taken against Diliyan Georgiev. He is the person in whose home the flash drives with the recordings were found, plus drugs in vitamin vials, plus printed notes with threats against the authorities, plus 50,000 euros, all in one place in a black nylon bag.

With an apology to court procedures, and even in view of our respect for the ruling of the court, we will have to admit that remarkable atrocities are read in this record. We will not comment on which normal person keeps his drugs and cash in “black opaque nylon bag with gold lines” to the sofa in the living room. Along with his communication with the other conspirators.

Suffice it to say, however, that if the drugs are indeed planted, this cannot be established – in view of the “convenient” testimony of the poems (who it is not clear what they are and where they were brought from, but very often over the years they are cadets from the Ministry of Interior – the Academy) and most of all in view of the refusal of the Ministry of Interior to allow the presence of lawyers during the search. So what do we read in the Minutes. Prosecutor Ganeva claims, verbatim: “in the case there are indications of planned unlawful actions against magistrates, including against Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev“. Thus, it is obvious that Geshev is already being talked about in the plural, because from the projected recordings it was not clear which other magistrates will be “pushed” except Geshev. But whatever. We The Sun King, as Louis XIV or a Russian autocrat would say. Next, Mrs. Ganeva claims that Georgiev should be detained, because the other defendant, Tony Ivanov, had already fled abroad – and the two of them, you see, had contacted. Interesting logic! So, if we interview The Mustache or some other “enemy”, we should also be detained, because Vassilev himself cannot be detained. Perhaps the prosecutor graduated in law in VIPOND– Ah, though who knows. It may be in SWU-it. As an additional prosecutor’s argument for detention, we read that there was evidence of contacts of the accused with “persons hiding abroad” – read, Tsetso from Belgrade. No further comment.

The Court, however, rejects these mediocre and low-intelligent prosecutorial arguments. The only reason for Georgiev to remain in custody – i.e. the only one credited by the court – is actually the “found” drugs and the fact that the accused has a burdened criminal record. Part of that past, appropos, is his “agreement” (after six months in custody), in which he admits he made plans to
blackmails
the poor Peevski and DoganOf which they themselves were ignorant. At the time, the special team – and in particular the Elhovo militiaman Angel Kanev – noted this as a huge success. However, here is the time to recall that recently the SCC cut With devastating arguments, a similar agreement concerning Peevski’s “killers”. Poor, Poor “State Enterprise”, as Geshev himself named Peevski. One blackmailed him, another killed him, and he himself never realized that he was being blackmailed or killed. Such paradoxes are possible only in the native casketure – and nowhere else.

The Secret Witness Comes In.

And now, dear readers, we will dwell in more detail on the jewel in the crown of the “coup d’état” – the testimony of the protected witness 3AS-2/2023. We will save the names of the interrogating investigators for now, but we will mention one fact: one lady has recently been promoted from junior to regular investigator to the Sofia City Prosecutor’s Office, so obviously this case will serve as a career rocket for the future (or vice versa, according to it depends). Time will tell. And now the fun begins, look what the secret witness says.

“I am aware of certain facts and circumstances concerning Krasimir Kamenov – Karo. I am aware that he is engaged in illegal activities and maintains a wide network of contacts, with his interests focused on several different areas.”

So far, nothing known to the general public.

“I know that there is a face named Diliyan Georgiev. I know that this person has recently been around Krassi, being part of a company that also includes Martin Georgiev and Svetoslav Stamov – Gamble. I don’t know exactly what it works, but I know that he flaunts close relations and ties with investigative journalist Dimitar Stoyanov from bird.bg website. As far as I know, Dilyan submits Stoyanov some stories and news and Stoyanov publishes them on the site, thus giving them publicity.”

This activity of Dilyan as our journalistic source is not known to us, but about this later.

“I know that Dilyan is flaunting that he maintains ties with persons from Romania (Liviu Dragnea?). Besides, I know that Dilyan flaunted some connections with a person from France. (Brigitte Bardot?).”

The underlined hints of the likely names of the faces are from the editorial office.

The “readings” continue in the same style of the free-unrelated chatter type, or “I heard, I was told, at the market a woman was talking“. And with a lot of parade:

“I know that Dilyan flaunted relations with the person Tsvetan Vassilev, who is located in the Republic of Serbia, the city of Belgrade. I know that Diliyan has linked Krassi with Tsvetan Vassilev and Vassilev with promising some support to Krasi in connection with the fight against his enemies in Bulgaria – persons in power, Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev, etc.

I know that Diliyan flaunted relations with a person from Switzerland who would give support to Krassi in his struggle to regain control of business at the Bulgarian-Turkish border.

I know that Diliyan flaunts Bobokov, but I do not know which of the two brothers and I do not know what work he does exactly…”

A coup, like a parade. This is what the casketure stands on, saying that there are indications in the case of a planned international conspiracy against the state and a coup against “persons in power, Prosecutor General Geshev, etc.” Beauty, as lawyer Mondeshki said with a sigh in one of the recordings Yaneva Gate.

BIRD is involved in this parade of absurdity through allegations of information that Diliyan allegedly submitted and was published on the site, and in the exhibition it is associated with our series of publications about the “golden laboratory” of Kapitan Andreevo:

“I suppose that Diliyan gets money to submit information to Stoyanov, as the news and articles that Stoyanov writes on the site use Bobokov in some form.

I know that Krassi gave money to Diliyan for every article published. I know that Krassi gave this money through his man because he decided that Diliyan’s connections and contacts in the journalistic circles are necessary to be able to give publicity in the media to the issue of the border, which is very important for Krassi.”

These tales of the secret witness are refuted in a very simple way – with a reading that is clearly not the power of the Spitz prosecutors in the case. They, as in the famous joke about the Chukchat, are writers, not readers. If they had bothered to read our publications on “they would have seen that all our journalistic investigations into the “golden laboratory“, the “golden pool“ and the “golden parking lots“ of Kapitan Andreevo were written exclusively from public sources – the Commercial Register, the Property Register and information from court cases and protocols. 4 Million Reasons to Listen to the “Way of the Silk”

Here comes the moment, dear readers. Philip Stoyanov has to return over BGN 4 million to the fisc, according to an audit report of the NRA. It should be followed in a short order by a final audit act. However, there is a possibility that the audit will be crushed by internal administrative order before reaching the judicial stage. That is, the relevant director at the NRA has the power to revoke audit actsbefore they go to court. According to our information, this is exactly what the witness Philip is promised, since he does not want to go to court at all, and he has little chance of winning. Therefore, he prefers to settle his problem in the second way. I.e. in exchange for the “right” cooperation with Ivan and Siika, he is promised that the revision will simply sink, or at least the final act will be in his favor. After all, 4 million leva and on top of that, is not a joke.

Of course, someone might ask – but how come the prosecution will tell the NRA How to conduct his revisions?! He has no right to do it, but he does. This is duly Documented both from Angel Kanev’s personal visits to the NRA and his screams there, as well as on other occasions. In this case, however, the key is the mediation of presidential adviser Nikolay Koprinkov – or the so-called. “Road of Koprinkata“. It is he who is the key link between Radev and Geshev, on the one hand, and on the other hand, a “transmission” of the desires in the direction of the NRA.

Put simply, Koprinkov is a guarantor of the cooperation between Geshev and the NRA in recent times, including in this case the “favorable” outcome of the audit we talked about above. Time will tell if this scheme promised to the witness will work, and this will be very easy to detect and verify. If the witness Philip “wins” the audit proceedings this will mean that The prosecutor’s office paid off. for the service performed. If not, this will mean that the NRA has not succumbed to the pressure. And then the witness Philip will have to go to court, as all normal people do. And already in the course of the court proceedings it will be known who is the best man, who is coming and who is Geshev’s brother.

We do not know whether the person Philip Stoyanov Stoyanov is currently on the French Riviera As an even more protected witness. But we know something else – after the press conference of the Ministry of Interior, Minister Demerdzhiev shared

on air that the Ministry of Interior is assigned by the Prosecutor’s Office to protect more and more persons from the criminal contingent, including when circling the discos. and nightclubs. It is not clear what requires ordinary policemen to be humiliated in this way, but obviously Ivan and Siika believe that it is necessary. Most likely, one of these recently guarded persons is also Stoyanov.

Order the prosecutor’s office in court

This is not the first time the casketure has publicly attacked investigative journalists with slander. This was the case with the hacking of the NRA, which reached the irrigation sprinklers in front of parliament and stayed there. The correlation between these attacks and the fact that investigative journalism exposed Geshev’s corrupt role in the “
Untouchables
” and “
Josi
” cases is obvious. Another character from the press conference – Bobby Sarafov, also did not explain where his 20-year-old son had found money for two expensive apartments.

Institutional attacks on the media are also mentioned as a problem in the latest US State Department report on Bulgaria. We mentioned above that normal people go to court to protect their rights when they are violated and their name when they are maligned. This will soon be done by us at BIRD to protect our name from sleazy lies, insinuations and slander, thrown from the casketure. For years, since he reigned The Lord’s Instrument, Geshevtsi allow themselves to slander in the media anyone who does not suit them and who dares to criticize them. The Prosecutor’s Office is ultimately responsible for damages caused by maligning, there is even a judicial precedent in this direction – recently they were
convicted
of defamation by BOETS.

Unfortunately, misunderstood and artificially inflated “immunity” protects individuals Geshev, Siika and Bobby from personal responsibility to be sought in court. Perhaps it is right to consider legislative changes in this direction, otherwise taxpayers pay every time. After all, magistrates’ immunity serves to be able to write your magistrates’ acts. without fear of pressure But not about being able to shoulder whatever, whenever and against whomever you want on TV. And people like Ivan, Siika and Bobby haven’t written a single line for years, on the contrary – all day deal with rattling in front of the media, or whining in front of MPs. More often in Sofia, and recently in Brussels or even in the United States. Not that they succeed, but the taxpayer pays – literally and figuratively.
