Rosen Karadimov with two properties in Nice for over BGN 1 million

Two properties on the Cote d’Azur have been acquired by a company of former MP Rosen Karadimov, who was appointed by Radev’s caretaker government as a member of the board of the Bulgarian Development Bank. This shows a check of the BIRD.BG in the French company and property registers.

The company Rosenina is currently owned by Karadimov’s children Kalina and Todor, born in 2000. But in 2015 and 2016, when the property acquisitions were made, it was owned by Rosen Karadimov and the woman with whom he shared a roof at that time: Nina Nenova from Vratsa.

The first purchase in 2015 is of an apartment in a modern building on Tsarigradsko shose Str. Rossini, near Mozart Square. For him, the company has counted 448,000 euros.

The second purchase from the beginning of 2016 is of another apartment in a neat building on Georges Clemenceau Avenue. It cost the more modest sum of 139,590 euros.

Thus, the total value of the family’s property acquisitions is 1.14m euros. left.

Karadimov has spent his entire career in state and party positions as a member of parliament and adviser to Sergei Stanishev during the rule of the Triple Coalition. His name has been associated with conflict of interest scandals and the Hocheger affair.

In previous investigations, we found properties in France of other political figures: former Energy Minister Milko Kovachev owns part of a castle, and Pernik municipal councilor Bozhidar Zhivkov, who is Hristo Kovachki’s father-in-law, has a luxury villa on the Côte d’Azur.
