The DNSC has taken no action on the illegal jetty at Dogansarai. It was a land property, not a building

The state building control has done absolutely nothing after it became known that a pier without building permits had sprung up near Ahmed Dogan’s summer residence. This is clear from the FOIA response to questions sent by the BRRD. It turns out that the DNSC does not want to see the obvious – the appearance of a concrete pier 230 meters long and equipped to receive large yachts at berths with electricity and water. According to Vladi Kalinov, the new director of the State National Security Service, all this infrastructure was land, not construction. Therefore, no case was opened.

The illegal pier has been known for more than a year after Bivol’s investigationwhich proved with satellite images that it had sprung up between 2016 and 2018. There are no construction documents for the facility and it is listed in the Cadastre with the fraudulent claim that it existed in the 1980s. However, then there is a pier with a length of only 50 meters, and currently it is 280 meters, with the added 230 meters not existing before 2016.

Following the events on Rosenets last summer, the Supreme Administrative Prosecutor’s Office found two illegal sites on state property: a 200-meter pier with a breakwater and another structure on the beach. However, the DNSC has not found any such thing and continues to consider that the pier is a landed property, which is perfectly satisfactory for its users.

If the institutions had not played blind, but had carried out the appropriate checks on the spot and taken the necessary action, the marina in question should now be sealed, banned for use, with electricity and water batches withdrawn and in the process of removal. Nothing like this is happening neither with the old director of the State National Security Service nor with the new one – Vladi Kalinov, who two years ago became famous with the regularization of the terrace of former KPKONPI chief Plamen Georgiev.
