In an informal conversation, the lawyer in question, who is associated with Delyan Peevski’s interests, denied knowing Vanina Koleva, but several independent eyewitnesses claim that their acquaintance is more than thorough and she was his protégé. It is also associated with the pressure for Koleva to be moved from AU Burgas to ACSC. On September 20, 2017, Koleva was reassigned to the ACSC, in very unusual circumstances under art. 194 para. 2 of the JSA, namely:

“By mutual consent for exchange of an equal position of judges in another court, prosecutors – in another prosecutor’s office, and investigators – in another investigation department, and with the consent of their administrative managers, they shall be transferred without a competition by a decision of the relevant college of the Supreme Judicial Council”

Vanina Koleva exchanges with judge Marina Nikolova, the latter taking over her cases in Burgas. This castling is again associated with the powerful law firm that protended Koleva.

Under different circumstances, we would not mention facts and circumstances from anyone’s personal sphere, but Vanina Koleva solved a case with a company that is associated with Hristophoris Amantidis – Taki.

The latter enjoys the glory of a partner and right hand, in certain situations, of Delyan Peevski, sanctioned under the Magnitsky Act. Has the lawyer associated with Peevski lobbied his former alleged protégé in favor of “Eve 2011” we can only guess. However, the strange circumstances do not end there. Rather, that’s how they start.

The father – a professor from UFT, tried and acquitted of bribery

Judge Vanina Simeonova Koleva is née Vasileva. Professor Simeon Vaskov Vasilev is her father and Sofia Simeonova Vasileva is her mother. According to media publications, Judge Koleva’s parents are teachers at universities. Her sister Assoc. Dr. Elena Simeonova Petkova, née Vasileva has also realized herself in the academic community. She is a lecturer at the Department of Geography of Tourism at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. Kliment Ohridski”, Faculty of Geology and Geography.

The father of Judge Koleva, prof. Simeon Vassilev was a lecturer at UFT Plovdiv and until 17.01.2019 he was Chairman of the Union of Scientists in the city under the hills, and to this day he is also a member of the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria. However, it is probably the largest source of reputational damage for Vanina Koleva, and probably not only for her. In May 2017, he and his colleague from UFT Prof. Dr. Ing. Nikolay Dimitrov Bankov were detained after an investigation of “Lords of the Air”“. For his colleague Professor Nikolay Bankov, the prosecution claims that he has requested the same amount from two students, again in order to put a positive assessment on exam tasks in the discipline “Theoretical Electrical Engineering”, part 1. “In both cases, charges of bribery have been filed – both intermediaries and habilitated teachers,” said Galin Gavrailov, who is the Deputy District Prosecutor of Plovdiv. At the end of May, the two defendants were removed. from office and thus ended the success of the prosecution in the case. The state prosecution initiated two separate cases against the accused professors. This against prof. Simeon Vassilev concludes with an acquittal conviction, and against Prof. Nikolay Bankov with a fine of BGN 5,000 .

Judge – lecturer at UFT, acquits his colleague’s father

From the website of the Council we learn that in July 2017, with 8 votes “for” and 4 votes “against”, the Judicial College of the Supreme Judicial Council accepted the proposal of the disciplinary panel in the case of Minev not to be punished. The Disciplinary Chamber in his case did not establish that with a car provided to him for use, in his capacity of prosecutor, Minev had received a type of material benefit with which he violated the principles of integrity, impartiality and decency. Because the car was provided to him by a friend… SCM does not collect evidence that the provision for use of the car was aimed at thwarting the criminal or other liability of its owner, as well as obtaining illegal benefits against the provision of services by Petko Minev. It was Petko Minev who justified the father of his colleague Vanina Koleva.

Remarkably, besides being a magistrate, Minev is also part of the academic community. He is a PhD student of prof. Darina Zinovieva, having specialized in the Law on Administrative Violations and Penalties, his topic is — ‘Judicial review in administrative punishment. Contestation, Cassation and Resumption.” He has published books on the subject.However, Minev’s teaching career did not go remarkably. He did not teach lawyers, but educators in Plovdiv University and technologists in… UFT Plovdiv.

Mollov – Rector of UFT, offers bribes to leave “Eurolab 2011” alone

The last university is the same as the two accused of corruption professors. Maybe it’s a coincidence, but The Executive Director of the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency Prof. Hristo Daskalov claims that The Rector of the University of Food and Taste Industry in Plovdiv prof. Plamen Mollov offered him a bribe in connection with inspections that the state has launched on the company “Eurolab 2011”, which carries out phytosanitary control at the Kapitan Andreevo border checkpoint. In support of his claims prof. Daskalov also has a record.

To summarize: the father of Judge Vanina Koleva – Prof. Simeon Vasilev is a longtime colleague with Prof. Plamen Mollov, Rector of UFT Plovdiv. Mollov offered a bribe in favor of Eurolab 2011. And the daughter of Prof. Simeon Vassilev has changed the implementation of the work of the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency, which is ordered by “Euro 2011” to any of its publications in the case of the Parliamentary Forum Kapitan Andpeevo. To top it off, the judge who acquitted prof. Simeon Vassilev in a bribery case appeared as a lecturer at the same university.

The NMSS relationship

Besides Rector of the University of Food and Taste Industry in Plovdiv, prof. Plamen Nedelchev Mollov is twice a member of NVSV, even chairman of the NMSS parliamentary group and recently co-founder of Stefan Yanev’s party “Bulgarian Rise”. Back in time, Mollov was Head of the BFSA, released after bribery signals.

From the declaration of judge Vanina Koleva we learn that she has a husband with whom she is in a de facto separation. His name is Ivaylo Asenov Kolev. According to the Commercial Register, it developed in the field of arts. In 2002, Kolev, born in 1977, joined the board of the state-owned company.Bulgarian circuses and amusement park“. Subsequently, the company was acquired after a tender by the Iliyantsi Commodity Bazaar. Why the young man Ivaylo Asenov Kolev is on the board of directors of the company? Probably for the same reason that Delyan Peevski – then leader of the youth NMSS – falls on the board of Port Varna – NMSS. Ivaylo Asenov Kolev is the brother of Dimitar Asenov Kolev. Currently, the latter is Chairman of the Municipal Council in Pernik. In the biography of Dimitar Kolev it is evident that he was a member of the RZS. Before joining the party of Yani Yanev, however, Kolev in the regional governor of Pernik from the quota of NMSS. He also has experience as a candidate mayor of the regional city. Wife of Dimitar Kolev in the journalist Milena Milotinova, who was also a member of the NMSS.

On the website of the institution, a person with such a name occupies the position Chief expert in the Concession and Concession Control Department at Sofia Municipality. However, this is a circumstance that is of little importance for the company’s case “Europe 2011”.

But the connection through NMSII of the Kolevi family, Plamen Mollov and the case “Euro 2011” is more than obvious thanks to the recording presented by Prof. Hristo Daskalov, the public registers and the data saved by Google.

Here’s how all the roads of “Euro 2011″ passing through the ACSC lead to a judge Vanina Koleva. However, she did not consider it necessary to take away.
