How they (didn’t) kill Peevski

Over the years, the prosecution periodically entertained the Bulgarian public with conspiracy theories about how threatened DPS MP Delyan Peevski

was, how snipers had arrived especially for him. from a distant abroad (almost from the Moon) and other nonsense, gluttons and frank nonsense. And a few days ago the main of these lakrdia was categorically rebutted in court – and not just anywhere, but in the Specialized Criminal Court (although already closed). We will tell you about this in the following lines.

But before we reach the court’s decision, it is worth remembering a little history. It was with a yellow-brown news that Tzvetan Vassilev had hired Killers for the CorpulentIn 2014, the attack on Corpbank AD began, which led to the closure, bankruptcy and dismantling of the bank. The prosecutor’s office willingly joined the script, arresting three people and keeping them briefly in custody. “It was a mistake, sorry” – as the other Corpulenten, the Plovdiv “solar mason” Sotir Tsatsarov, said afterwards. Then he sent prosecutors to storm the offices of the bank itself.

We’ll move on. In 2017, the Turkish report

From the above it becomes clear that in fact the Bulgarian casketure acts as a universal, centralized, multifunctional law firm of Delyan Slavchev Peevski. Like, of course, also Ahmed Demir Dogan.

So, we come to November 9, when a panel of the SNA issued an acquittal

against another killer of Peevski. Failed KillerNaturally. “Or maybe it is,” as the poet said. This case is a textbook example of how and what the prosecution should NOT work.

For starters, the presence of an OCG of three people is alleged, but the third had an “identity not established in the case” – demek, phantom. Since with only two you can not catch jurisdiction in the favorite geshev special court – come on, we put a “phantom” for a number. And the other two, you see, needed money, so they decided. Peevski to shoot by agreeing in an auto parts store in Mladost.

How and who will pay them for this shooting? – it is not clear, including it is not clear to prosecutors. The first of the two, Vladimir Kasarsky, is “convinced” by the caps to conclude agreement After a two-year stay in custody. Of course, he is “convicted” of the time already served – i.e. by the beginning of 2020 he has already been released from custody / prison. Then it disappears into the wider world.

A little more resourceful However, it turned out to be the Moldovan with a Bulgarian passport Vasil Nanish, who went to Russia. From there, he participated in absentia but fully in the case against him, which ended 2 weeks ago.

In essence, the SNA points out several things. That the entire indictment thesis is based on the testimony of one Konstantin Buhlev (who, however, turns out to be an investigation for murder, was also a protected witness in the case of Tractor). That there can be no OCG, just because Kasarski and Nanish knew each other and talked, both with each other and with the third “phantom” of the OCG. That the in question phantom He has never been identified by the accusers and there is no evidence that he exists at all. There is and never has been an assassination attempt against Peevski. That a sentence cannot rest solely on prosecutorial assumptions and reasoning.

Here we will add from us that in July this year Buhlev was
convicted
of life imprisonment. Apparently, the prosecution does not select well (to put it mildly) the protected witnesses in favor of Peevski. We will also add that the justification of Nannish strongly proves that the “agreement” of Kasarski is complete punta-mara insofar as it rests on the same factology.

In summary, we can say that the prosecution has wasted a lot of time, effort and budget funds in a case that is initially nonsense and sleazy servantage.. And which once again shows that The prosecution jumps like a burning hen every time it comes to Peevski and his sacred persona.

And since we do not like to talk only abstractly, it is time to praise the prosecutors who threw this famous and meaningless work –
Kalin Bliznakov
and
Genka Brezashka
. Bliznakov is best known for his exploits around the NAPleakswhen the whole of Bulgaria realized that sprinklers in front of parliament could be weapons in the hands of terrorists, sorry, hackers. In this case to this day, There was no indictment, and it was recently revealed that it had been partially
terminated.
. Quietly, of course. Apparently, prosecutor Bliznakov no longer bothers with nonsense – especially after the case of Peevski’s “killers”.

Prosecutor (Lieutenant Colonel) Brezashka, on the other hand, is a seconded military prosecutor, who in the special prosecutor’s office was mainly famous for the “garbage” case against the Bobokov brothers – which earlier this year crashed and was terminated

in the special court. The other “glorious” moment of proc. Brezashka came when Publish the SSDs with the voice of the President on the PRB website – with the explicit “permission” of the Main Cap, of course. According to unconfirmed information, this eventually led to her dismissal in May this year by the regular Minister of Defence Dragomir Zakov – who has such power over military prosecutors only.

BIRD He did not find in the court records an appeal against the minister’s order, so at this stage our information has not been confirmed. However, indirect confirmation comes from the fact that for about 6 months Brezashka has stopped appearing in court. Apparently the servitude in favor of Peevski does not always automatically guarantee brilliant career development – as it was (and still is) with Geshev. You see!
