In a publication on the website of the party “There is such a people” signed by the chairman of their parliamentary group Toshko Ivanov, it is confirmed that he has quoted “unverified information” from the “Bivol website” about Mrs. Rositsa Kirova’s partnership with the Kosovo drug lord Ismet Osmani.

In this regard, we would like to state the following:
- We are both connected to the site Bivol, but the information about Mrs. Kirova and Mr. Osmani is published on the website of the Bureau of Investigative Reports and Data BIRD.BG;
- The partnership documents between Mrs. Kirova and Mr. Osmani are from the Bulgarian Commercial Register;
- The information about the involvement of Mr. Osmani, known by his nickname “Tsuri”, for drug trafficking and other serious constituent acts was verified by two independent government sources – a 2000 Serbian police report. and a 2004 German intelligence report BND and Both sources are clearly indicated, and the BND report is available in full online;
- In 2019, Mr Osmani was arrested in Kosovo along with several others on charges for usury, fraud, and coercion. He was released on bail a few months later;
- The information about Mr. Osmani is quoted many times in authoritative media such as OCCRP, Krik, Courrier des Balkans, Koha Ditore and others. No one questions the official reports of the German and Serbian authorities and the accusations of the Kosovo authorities;
- In our publication, we do not claim that Mr. Osmani is a convicted criminal. For now, he is still just a defendant. This in no way alters the quoted statements of the services. To this we can add the fact that his associates have been arrested and one of them has been convicted of drug trafficking in the Czech Republic;
- It seems that the illumination of Mr. Osmani worries a lot of people. After the publication, we were pressured over the phone by persons with ambiguous reputations. We assume that Mr. Yordanov was also under pressure to make such a statement, and we are worried about his security.
