Peevski’s and The Skull’s Companies Sanctioned by the United States: Public Procurement and Written Off Debts to the NRA

Yesterday, the U.S. Treasury Department announced that imposes sanctions “against influential Bulgarian citizens and their wide networks Participation in Corruption“, the BRRD search engine detected some of the companies among the public procurement contractors and among the debtor companies of the NRA. “Wide networks” include explicitly listed companies associated with Delyan Peevski and Vasil Bojkov, and the list of sanctioned persons and companies is written not only in English but also in Bulgarian, together with UIC/BULSTAT, is Posted on the website of the U.S. Treasury Department.

, was directly or through established DZZD contractor for nearly BGN 22 million of the Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) and Bulgarian sports totalizator (BST).). The company’s shares were seized by the NRA on August 25, 2020, probably because of the charges brought against Bozhkov.

” AD, CONNECTED THROUGH “INFRA HOLDING” AD, WHOSE OWNERSHIP WAS THE ALREADY LIQUIDATED “PLANT FOR REINFORCED CONCRETE STRUCTURES AND PRODUCTS” EOOD, is in the list of debtors of the NRA with 3 million leva written off in October 2020, another connected and also already liquidated “HOLDING ROADS” AD is BGN 2.9 million written off obligations to the NRA.
